The Centre for Sustainability Transitions (CST) at Stellenbosch University is looking for a postdoctoral researcher to compare, connect and synthesise place-based SES work across regions, whilst accounting for the complex adaptive nature of these places, and the diversity of challenges they seek to address. The position is linked to the development of a Society for Social-Ecological Systems (SocSES) place-based case study database, and provides an opportunity to engage with SES researchers, regional hub coordinators, working groups, practitioners and policy-facing partners from around the world.
