Launch event: Collaborative Governance thematic stream working group

The Collaborative Governance thematic stream working group invites you to their launch event. If you are interested in advancing research, teaching, and real-world applications of collaborative governance in social-ecological systems (SES), don’t miss this opportunity to learn more, engage with the working group, and provide your input.

The launch event will include introductions, an icebreaker activity, an overview of the history of the working group and concepts related to collaborative governance, a discussion on the working group’s future work and potential subgroups, and an interactive session where attendees can share their expectations of the group’s work, events and activities.

To accommodate different time zones, the group will host two opportunities for this launch event.

ℹ️ More information on the Collaborative Governance working group:
The working group fosters cutting-edge research by exploring diverse theoretical perspectives – including feminist, decolonial, and political ecology approaches – and applying them to real-world collaborations. It investigates factors enabling governance diversity, power-sharing, and collective agency, while also addressing digital justice and AI ethics in governance.

The Collaborative Governance working group is co-led by Michael Schoon and Anahí Ocampo-Melgar. The other members of the working group are Julia Baird, Joana Bezerra, Örjan Bodin, Candice Carr Kelman, Rosemary Hill, Larissa Koch, Jacqueline Loos, Cathy Robinson and Hita Unnikrishnan.
