The co-leads of the Transdisciplinary Place-Based Research thematic stream’s working groups are inviting you to submit your ideas and interests via a Miro board. You are invited to contribute your ideas and share what you are interested in when it comes to the theme of transdisciplinary place-based research.
The Transdisciplinary Place-Based Research thematic stream currently involves two working groups, namely Communities of Practice in Action and Navigating Ethical Place-Based Research.
This thematic stream’s objectives are:
- Engaging with diverse knowledge systems and ways of being with care and respect
- Developing tools to support reflexivity amongst researchers
- Conducting research without being extractive or prescriptive
The working groups are proposing the following outputs and activities:
- Community-wide online knowledge exchanges
- Pop-up labs at in-person events (e.g., conferences)
- Co-created repository of stories and resources
- Development of novel tools and shared resources
